Harry Kane has not shown up for training on Tuesday morning either but according to talkSPORT, the forward is planning to backtrack from his revolt very soon.

The Tottenham Hotspur forward took everyone by surprise by not returning to training on Monday and immediately there were whispers that the England international was showing his intention of leaving this summer since he already has a ‘gentleman agreement’ with Daniel Levy.

Romano wrote on Instagram: “Harry Kane has NOT shown up for Tottenham training today morning after holidays, confirmed. Kane was expected to come back today after free days post Euros but he’s not at trainings.

“It’s Harry Kane choice and not related to Covid test or any other similar situation about Covid.

“Kane is still sure that he has had a ‘gentlemen agreement’ with the club since one year to leave Spurs this summer.

“Tottenham want to clarify the situation with the player as Daniel Levy, Paratici, Nuno & the whole club will “do everything they can” to keep him at Spurs. Still on the same position.”

When will Harry Kane return to training?

His stance remained the same on the second day of the week as well and as per The Athletic, the North London are not happy with Kane’s unprofessional behaviour. Some rumours have suggested that Spurs are planning to fine Harry Kane and maybe this is one of the reasons why the striker is planning to come back to training this weekend.

talkSPORT sums up various reports: “Kane is thought to be venting his frustration at the club’s reluctance to sell him to City – with Spurs refusing to comment on their star striker’s unarranged absence.

“There were reports earlier today suggesting Kane had no intention of returning to training, but the latest developments point to a change of heart.

“According to multiple outlets, the striker now feels the situation has been blown out of proportion and is ready to backtrack on his previous plan by returning this weekend.”

Manchester City are the frontrunners in signing Harry Kane and they have already seen a bid rejected this summer.

While this backtracking will undoubtedly be a bit of a blow to their transfer plans but Harry Kane has made his intentions pretty clear. And this will be a big plus for Pep Guardiola’s side.

We are still not sure if Daniel Levy will soften his tone but if the chairman does put the 28-year-old up for sale, Man City will be standing in the front of the queue.
