Napoli FC have ended a 33-year drought title by winning the Serie A and they have done so in some style. 36 games played so far and the Partenopei currently have a 18 points-lead at the top of the table.

The 2022/23 season is almost over and with that, the Napoli FC management will be gearing up for another battle. They have some wonderful performers this season so it’s no secret that a series of top European clubs are about to raid their squad.

The first big blow for the Serie A champions could come in the form of Luciano Spalletti who could be on his way out. The manager has already hinted that he might leave and if this is true then several players will definitely follow him.

We look at some of the players who are likely to leave during the summer transfer window:

Victor Osimhen:

One of the main reasons why Napoli FC won the title was because of this man. The Nigerian international has scored 23 goals so far this season and out of them, only one has been from the penalty spot.

He’s the talk of the town right now and even though the Napoli president has made it clear that he will not Osimhen leave, there’s a high probability he will join a new club.

Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and PSG all want to sign the goal-scoring machine but in the end, whichever side can shell out around €100 million will be the one to get their hands on the 24-year-old.

Hirving Lozano:

Lozano has been linked with a top club like Arsenal but the right winger hasn’t had a great season. He’s scored and assisted only six league goals so far and it’s highly unlikely that the Gunners will want to sign him.

They have just made Bukayo Saka a new deal and the England international has made the right-wing position his own. Lozano is wanted by other clubs as well and we think, he will either end up joining Newcastle United or Lyon.

Kim Min-Jae:

The defender has a release clause in his Napoli FC deal that will be active during a two-week window in early July and during that time, it will be a frenzy to sign him.

Napoli club lawyer Mario Grassani recently said in a radio interview: “Is it true that the clause in Kim’s contract is valid from 1 to 15 July? This statement is not far from the truth.”

He was signed by Napoli FC to replace Koulibaly and the South Korean has done a remarkable job. He’s been linked with Liverpool as well as Manchester City but experts believe Manchester United are in prime position to sign the 26-year-old.

Liverpool have missed out on Champions League so that is going to affect their market credibility and if Man United can trigger the release clause then it could be a done deal.
