Arsenal have made some great signings this summer but according to Mikel Arteta, the club are still on the lookout for some new players.
They have brought in players like Zinchenko, Fabio Vieira, Marquinhos and most importantly Gabriel Jesus but rumours are ripe that the Gunners are eager to add at least two new faces before the window shuts down.
“We are still hoping to do something else if the market allows. You have seen some movement in the last few days as well,” Arteta told the media this weekend(h/t 90Min).
“We want to get the perfect balance and the plan we wanted from the beginning. Whether we accomplish that or not is another story.”
Which players are Arsenal likely to sign this month?
Arsenal have long been linked with Leicester City’s Youri Tielemans and the English media is claiming that Arteta is still interested in bringing him on board.
The Gunners have not given up hope of signing the midfielder and they expected to make a formal move for him very soon.

The other player who is most likely on Arsenal’s radar is Lyon’s Lucas Paqueta – even though Edu has claimed that the club are not interested in signing him.
Most journalists feel Mikel Arteta is eager to sign Paqueta because he wants to add more competition for the attacking midfielder’s role next season.
We are not sure what the situation is with Lucas Paqueta but there’s no denying that Arsenal are going to make a move for Youri Tielemans.
Leicester City have not received any offers for the midfielder but Arteta is desperately searching for a long-term replacement for Granit Xhaka so they are surely planning something.
The North London side have already spent more than £100 million on new arrivals this summer and unlike the previous windows, these transfers have been well thought out and coordinated. Arteta has managed to plug most of the problematic areas in his side and now the one thing that remains is to sign a top-quality central midfielder.
