Nicolas Pepe to replace Aubameyang Arsenal EPL
Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan Arsenal news

Premier League clubs Chelsea and Manchester United have both shown interest in signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Arsenal but this dream could shatter pretty badly – according to the Express.

As things stand, Aubameyang is not likely to sign a new deal at the Emirates and with just over a year left on his current deal, the forward is ready for a new challenge next season.

With a series of big English clubs interested in signing him, it was certain the Gabon international would choose to remain in the Premier League if he does decide to leave Arsenal in the summer.

But now as per the Express, Inter Milan are not only interested in signing the forward but are also the frontrunners in wrapping up this deal.

As per the report: “Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s future has taken a fresh twist, because Paris Saint-Germain are preparing to make a bid to extend Mauro Icardi’s loan for another year.

“Arsenal will reportedly demand £50m for their club captain, meaning it is possible that Inter could buy him outright if they sell [Lautaro]Martinez.”

Will Chelsea & Man United lose out on Auba?

Aubameyang will undoubtedly look to remain in the Premier League but if Inter Milan do come calling then the Gabon international could very well snub a move to both Chelsea as well as Manchester United.

The £50 million transfer fee should not be an issue for either of the EPL clubs but if Aubameyang joined Inter, he will not only get guaranteed Champions League football but will also have the chance to fight for the Serie A title, every possible season.

As things stand, both Chelsea and Man United should get back into the UCL next campaign but they will still need a couple of more years before they can challenge the likes of Man City or Liverpool for the domestic title.

And given that the Arsenal man is about to hit 31 in June, we don’t think, he will be too eager to play the waiting game.

Apart from high wages, Aubameyang would also want to win trophies which can turn into a reality quite smoothly if he was to move out of England and join the San Siro outfit in the summer.
