Fiorentina forward Dusan Vlahovic will be one of the most sought-after players during the January transfer window and there’s a big chance he could be on his way to the Premier League.

Arsenal are looking at the 21-year-old as the long-term replacement for Alexandre Lacazette while he’s also been linked with Spurs for some time now. And now that Antonio Conte has taken charge of the Lilywhites, these rumours are going to pick up wind even more.

Conte has been a long-term admirer of Dusan Vlahovic and since Spurs are really thin in the forwards department, the manager is likely to make a move for the Fiorentina striker at the start of the new year.

Arsenal ready to pay up for Dusan Vlahovic:

Spurs recently suffered a major blow as Arsenal had come to a final decision regarding Dusan Vlahovic.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Gunners have held a meeting with Fiorentina in recent days to secure a deal for the Serbian international.

This was a major blow for the Lilywhites since Arsenal have been in top form in recent months and if Lacazette moves out in January then Dusan Vlahovic will become the undisputed striker at the Emirates.

Dusan Vlahovic not keen to join Arsenal it seems:

The 21-year-old has netted eight goals in 12 league matches this season so naturally the Arsenal fans were excited at the prospect of him coming to town.

But it seems like their joy was short-lived since Sky Italia(as quoted by Sport Mole) are claiming that the forward is not keen to committ to Arsenal just yet.

Apart from Arsenal, clubs like Spurs, Juventus and Inter Milan have all shown an interest in the 21-year-old which is why he doesn’t want to decide on his future so early.

Despite Mikel Arteta’s side willing to pay €80 million, Vlahovic wants to wait and see what the other suitors are planning to offer before he can come to a final decision.

This is undoubtedly a major blow for Arsenal who were hoping to secure a move before the other clubs could make up their mind. But the forward is not ready to take a gamble.

Spurs now have a great chance at getting their hands on Dusan Vlahovic since the Lilywhites are now being managed by Antonio Conte and the Italian is one of the top managers in the world.

But if Harry Kane is not leaving anytime soon then it will be very hard for the club to convince the Fiorentina man to join them since the last thing he will want is to be a bench warmer.
