Leicester City have been having a great Premier League campaign under their manager Brendan Rodgers and up until a couple of weeks ago, they were even trying to battle Liverpool for the title.
But dropping points against the likes out Southampton and Burnley, it’s safe to say that the Foxes have fallen off the title race.
Next up they take on West Ham United in the Premier League on Wednesday night and according to Iheanacho, Leicester might have to work hard to pick up a win against the Hammers.
“In the Premier League when there’s a change of manager you will see they are different from the previous one,” the Leicester City forward told LCFC TV.
“It’s always going to be difficult with a team that changed their manager, always going to be a difficult one.
“And in the Premier League this season every game is hard. It’s going to be a tough one because they’ve become stronger, they are just like a proper team now.
“So it’s going to be a tough one for us. But with the way we’ve been working and the preparation, I think we are equal to the task and we will give them a good game.”
The Hammers are agonisingly close to the relegation zone while the arrival of David Moyes has bumped up the performance somewhat but the London side have still lost three out of their past five matches.
So while Iheanacho might be sounding the alarm bells for Leicester, we think with the firepower they have, the Foxes should see this game through especially since they will be playing in their own backyard.
