Rangers FC are not keen to hold onto Florian Kamberi beyond the summer transfer window, according to the Scottish Sun.

The report claims: “FLORIAN KAMBERI looks to have played his last game for Hibs — but is set to miss out on a dream move to Rangers.

“SunSport understands former Ibrox loan ace Kamberi has been targeted by clubs from FIVE different countries.

“The Swiss-born frontman impressed on loan during the second half of last season following a January switch from Easter Road.”

Why Rangers FC do not want to keep Florian Kamberi:

Florian Kamberi joined Rangers FC from Hibernian on a six-month loan deal during the January transfer window but the hope for the forward was to secure a permanent deal at the club by the end of the current season.

During the second half of the season, the 25-year-old has done a decent enough job for Steven Gerrard’s side but it looks like the Gers are not ready to keep him at the club.

As per reports, Rangers FC have other priorities to look into during the summer transfer window and their manager is keen to make a move for Livingston forward Lyndon Dykes.

Dykes has been in fine form this season scoring nine and assisting eight goals in 25 Premiership matches and he could be the perfect addition to the Teddy Bears squad next season.

This means Hibs will have to look to sell Florian Kamberi elsewhere but that should not be a big cause of concern for the Premiership side since clubs like England and Germany have shown an interest in the Albanian international.
