Jesse Lingard Man United news
Jesse Lingard Man United

Man United winger Jesse Lingard will be leaving the club on a loan deal this month and West Ham United could be his next destination, according to the Standard.

Several EPL clubs have shown an interest in signing Lingard on loan for the remainder of the season and as per Sky Sports, West Brom have also joined the race to sign the 28-year-old.

The report claims: “West Brom have made an enquiry to Manchester United about the possibility of a loan deal for Jesse Lingard.

“Baggies boss Sam Allardyce has been attracted by Lingard’s quality, but it looks unlikely at this stage the finances would work from an Albion perspective.”

Jesse Lingard has not played even a single minute in the Premier League this season so it’s not a surprise that Solskjaer has allowed him to leave till the summer. Lingard is obviously spoilt for choices but we think he could snub all these clubs to join West Ham United.

The Hammers are hoping for a top-four finish this season and it looks like manager David Moyes is really keen to sign Lingard ahead of all the other clubs.

Premier League clubs are only allowed to sign two domestic loan players and the Hammers have already brought in Said Benrahma from Brentford and Craig Dawson from Watford.

This means they cannot move for Jesse Lingard any more which is why Moyes is going to make Benrahma’s loan deal permanent this month for a transfer fee of £25million – something he had intended to do only at the end of this season.

Jesse Lingard will hopefully join a club where he feels wanted and can get regular game time which is why we think he is likely to choose West Ham United over the other suitors.

Moyes has agreed to spent an extra £25million this month just so that he can bring in the Man United misfit which is a clear indication that the former Man United boss has a definitive plan for the England international.
