West Ham United will travel across London to take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Monday.

And this match will be really crucial for both the teams.

While the Blues will need to win if they wish to keep their top-four hopes alive and three points on Monday would mean Chelsea might just go above Arsenal depending how the Gunners tackle Everton.

West Ham United, on the other hand, are fighting to play in the Europa League next season and if they wish to overtake the likes of Wolves and Watford, Pellegrini will need to ensure an away win.

And as per Michael Owen, this is where the problem lies for the Claret and Hugh.

“Chelsea followed up their late win at Cardiff with a resounding 3-0 home win over Brighton on Wednesday and will be hoping to make it a quick double when they host West Ham,” wrote Owen for his BetVictor predictions.

“Victory is looking essential to keep their top four hopes alive and with only one defeat on home soil in the PL this term they have made Stamford Bridge quite a fortress.

“The Hammers have taken just one point from a possible last eighteen on the road and despite plenty of attacking flair are highly unlikely to add to that tally here.”

Chelsea have lost just one out of their past five games while West Ham United have managed to pick up six points out of their previous fifteen.

And this season, teams have found it really hard to break down Chelsea at the Bridge and a team like West Ham United who have had such a mixed season might actually find it impossible to get a win vs Sarri’s men on Monday.
