Wigan Athletic forward Kyle Joseph has been a revelation during the 2020-21 season which is why a host of top British clubs are keen to get their hands on him.

According to Mirror’s David Anderson, Premier League clubs like Sheffield United and Spurs are interested in the teenager with Scottish giants Celtic and Rangers FC also expected to make a move.

He wrote on Twitter: “Tottenham, Sheffield United, Rangers and Celtic all keen on Wigan’s Scotland Under-19 striker Kyle Joseph.”

The Wigan Athletic man has been in fine form this season, scoring four goals in 11 league games so far and with so many clubs interested in him, it’s only a matter of time before he heads out for greener pastures.

Clubs like Rangers and Celtic FC were keen to sign him on a pre-contract to save a lot of transfer fees but the entry of Sheffield United and Spurs means they will not be able to do that any more.

Wigan Athletic have ongoing financial issues meaning they will love to get a transfer fee from the sale of Kyle Joseph and since he’s out of contract this summer, the League One side are willing to sell during the January transfer window.

Clubs like Celtic and Rangers will never be able to match the financial might of Spurs and Sheffield United so as of now the Premier League looks to be the next possible destination for the 19-year-old.

According to the latest reports, Wigan Athletic are yet to receive any formal offers but we are sure some of the interested clubs will make contact in the coming days.
