Spurs have managed to battle against all odds and secure Champions League football but there’s a possibility that Antonio Conte will not remain with the club next season.

Everyone was of the idea that Antonio Conte will remain at Tottenham if they can secure top-tier European football but that doesn’t seem to be the case because the manager has put his future up in the air.

He’s admitted that he is going to hold a meeting with the management very soon to decide his future.

“I’m under contract until next summer. I signed for one year and seven months,” he said, as per Sky Sports. “I enjoyed a lot my time at Tottenham because, I repeat, for me it was a big challenge.

“To come in during the season, for a coach like me, is not easy. It was a big challenge in a modern club with a fantastic stadium and training ground. For me, this is a trophy and I’m very happy. Then we’ll see. I always said at the end of the season we’ll speak to the club and find the best solution for me and the club.

“In this moment it was very difficult to speak about this. I’m very tired. I was really focused to get this big achievement.

“It’s very, very difficult to reach a place in Champions League. I have to consider this a really big, big achievement for me and for my players. And also for the club to consider this a big achievement… after three years Tottenham is able to play again in the Champions League.

“Despite the fact I didn’t lift a trophy, for me it is a big achievement, for me in a short time and short period in a difficult situation I worked a lot with my players to bring this club to play in the Champions League.

“I want to consider this qualification like a trophy. In my mind, my heart and my head I know what we did in these seven months. Me, my staff and the players. I want to celebrate and we’ll have time to speak with the club about everything.

“Now there’s a lot of emotions in my mind and my heart, for me, for the club and for everybody. For this reason, it’ll be very good to rest for four or five days and then have a good meeting with the club to find the best possible solution.”

Is Antonio Conte leaving Tottenham?

Antonio Conte is being drawn by the PSG job and if the Ligue 1 club decide to get a new manager then it won’t take much time for Conte to pack his bags and leave. Zidane’s name has also come up but as per some reports, Zizou is not going to be the next PSG boss.

The Italian cannot be blamed for harbouring feelings about managing players like Mbappe, Neymar and Messi so Daniel Levy will need to put forward a great plan to be able to hold onto him. Conte has been frustrated about the lack of transfer funds so Levy will have to make sure that Tottenham can provide him with money in the market.

Conte has done remarkably well this season but if he leaves Spurs then the Lilywhites will plunge into darkness. Without him, Spurs will really struggle in the Champions League next season because Harry Kane and co have moulded themselves in the image of Antonio Conte. He is a great manager at bringing results but once he leaves, he is sure to take some players with him.

PSG are close to sacking Pochettino and if Antonio Conte moves to Paris then Poch might come back to Spurs but the Argentine has not had a great time at PSG so many people will be sceptical about him returning for a second stint.
