Aubameyang moved to Barcelona just a couple of months ago but as per reports, he could now return to the Premier League this season, in Chelsea colours.

The forward left Arsenal to make a dream move to the Camp Nou but Barcelona, owing to their financial problems, are now ready to get rid of him before deadline day.

Based on the media buzz, Chelsea are the current frontrunners in signing Aubameyang and if they are ready to shell out around €25m to €28m for him then Barca will sanction a sale.

Romano has claimed on Twitter: “Pierre Aubameyang deal. Chelsea will be in contact with Barcelona through intermediaries during the weekend to discuss conditions of deal, and then decide on first bid.”

Will Aubameyang join Chelsea in the coming days?

Aubameyang currently earns £ 288,000 a week at Barcelona and with the club desperate to slash their wage bills, the Gabon international is the obvious and perfect target for a sale.

On the other hand, Tuchel wants to fill the void left behind by Romelu Lukaku and someone like Auba, will be the perfect patch-up job for one or possibly two seasons.

He left Arsenal in a rather poor form but at Barcelona, he has rekindled his game, scoring 13 goals in 24 appearances for the club and if he can have the same goalscoring run for Chelsea, then there will be a large number of disgruntled Arsenal fans.

Despite his loyalties to Arsenal, there’s every chance Aubameyang will join Chelsea and with the transfer window closing in just two weeks, we don’t think the Blues will take the risk of looking elsewhere.

According to FCB expert Gerard Romero, the Blues are going to make a formal bid very soon and once that happens, Aubameyang joining Chelsea will only be a matter of time.
