Manchester United and Liverpool will battle Inter in the signing of Bayern Munich full-back Benjamin Pavard, according to the latest reports.

Pavard has one more year left on his contract and if he doesn’t agree to a new deal then Bayern Munich will have to cash in on him during the summer.

He’s been a great player for the German side and despite being a right-back, the French international has scored and assisted five goals in the Bundesliga this season.

Barcelona had a long-standing interest in the defender while Inter had tried to sign him in January. It remains to be seen if Barcelona come back for Benjamin Pavard but Inter will definitely try and sign him once again.

Will Benjamin Pavard play in the EPL next season?

Will Benjamin Pavard play in the EPL next season?

Benjamin Pavard is a top talent and being a World Cup and UCL winner, he has huge experience of playing at the highest level. He’s currently valued at €35 million and at that price-tag, the 27-year-old is a steal.

However, neither Man United nor Liverpool want to sign a right-back so they will only go after Benjamin Pavard if their priority targets are onboard.

Both the English sides have made an enquiry regarding the defender but getting a right-back is not high on their agenda this summer.

Liverpool have Trent-Alexander Arnold who’s a world-class talent while Manchester United have Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Dalot in their squad. These two teams have other problematic areas which need to be strengthened.

Pavard still might sign a new contract at Bayern Munich but if he doesn’t then the Bavarians will not hold onto him. Inter will definitely be one of the favourites but we don’t see him signing for Man United or Liverpool.
