Chelsea take on Bayern Munich in the Champions League next weekend and winger Christian Pulisic will not be part of this high-profile encounter.
The American picked up a hamstring injury during Chelsea’s FA Cup loss to Arsenal and as per talkSPORT, the forward will be out for a number of weeks.
The report says: “Chelsea will not be able to call upon Christian Pulisic until the start of next season with the United States winger ruled out for up to five weeks with injury.
“Pulisic, who scored the Blues’ lone goal during Saturday’s FA Cup final defeat by Arsenal, was later withdrawn from the Wembley showpiece after pulling up with an apparent hamstring issue.”
Chelsea will go into this second leg with a 3-0 disadvantage and it will be a big blow to miss someone like Christian Pulisic – a player who has been at the top of his game since the restart.

But the former Dortmund man is not the only player who will be an absentee as Cesar Azpilicueta and Pedro will also miss out on Saturday.
Azpilicueta also picked up a hamstring injury while Pedro suffered up a shoulder injury(which required an operation) during the final game of his Chelsea career.
With so many players out of contention, it will be really hard for Frank Lampard to muster up any sort of major attack against a team like Bayern Munich.
