Man United might eventually miss out on the signing of this 29Y/O striker as two other clubs are interested in him

Manchester United are seriously interested in signing Harry Kane but the Spurs man is going to be hot property during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Tottenham’s Daniel Levy is desperate to hold onto his star player but his current contract expires in 2024 and he’s yet to agree to a new deal. Because he has one more year left on his deal, Kane will be available in a cut-price deal which is why PSG and now Bayern Munich have registered an interest in the 29-year-old.

Levy is trying everything he can to persuade Harry Kane to sign a new deal and in a recent statement, he hinted that the striker can become a true Spurs legend.

“He can absolutely win a trophy at Spurs,” Levy has said. “But being a legend is also important. The fact that he’s top scorer of Tottenham Hotspur; he’s making history.

“I hope one day that there is a statue of Harry Kane outside our stadium.”

Most transfer experts believe the forward will look to secure an exit in the summer and if he wishes to leave England then PSG will be very much interested in signing him up.

Bayern Munich have just been knocked out of Europe by Manchester City and right after the 2nd leg, Bayern president Herbert Hainer publicly announced that the club will look to sign a striker at the end of the season.

“It was obvious we didn’t have a number nine who would change things up front,” he said h/t Fotmob. “You can assume that we’ll strengthen our squad to be able to compete in the league and Champions League

“We’re missing a striker who can put the ball in the net. That’s something we’ll certainly need in future. If you can name me someone who can be an immediate hit, we would buy him immediately.”

Will Harry Kane choose a move out of the Premier League?

PSG and Bayern are two European giants and if they are seriously coming after Harry Kane then it is bad news for Manchester United.

United are making great progress under Erik ten Hag but if Kane wants to win trophies then France or Germany will be a much more realistic destination. At PSG or Bayern, he will be guaranteed a domestic trophy each and every season.

Now, the only thing to consider is if Harry Kane wishes to leave England at the age of 29. History has not been kind to English strikers who head to other European leagues which is why Kane will have to think long and hard.

He’s a goalscoring machine but the Ligue 1 and Bundesliga are tactically very different. Also, in the EPL he is right under Gareth Southgate’s eye and because he’s about to turn 30, his position in the national team will be in doubt very soon.

Manchester United will be a much safer destination but the Old Trafford outfit are currently under a rebuilding phase so he might have to wait one or two seasons before United can genuinely challenge for trophies again.
