Pundit claims Man United could be the next destination for this England superstar: Does ETH want him?

Manchester United will go all out to bring in a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo and according to the Mirror, the Red Devils have set their sights on Harry Kane.

Kane has been in top form for Spurs this season, scoring 18 league goals so far but the Lilywhites are once again having an average season. They have been knocked out of the Europa League which means Spurs are going to have another trophyless season and this has not gone down well with the 29-year-old.

“Where we’re at as a club, we should be winning trophies,” Kane told reporters after the exit. “The top four [being Spurs’ only target] is a consequence of not playing as well as we want to play.

“For sure, it’s not enough for this club. I totally understand the fans’ frustrations. Top four is not good enough for anyone at this club, especially the fans. They have the right to voice their opinion.

“The last week especially just hasn’t been good enough. Before the Sheffield United game, the season could have been a whole lot different.

“You go through there, you take that momentum into the league game and this game [against Milan]. But I feel like that loss last week put a dagger in our hearts and as you can see, we haven’t really recovered from that.”

Harry Kane is out of contract at Spurs in 2024 and his future remains in doubt because the club wants to make him sign a new deal but there are whispers that he will ask to leave in the summer and join a club where he has a more realistic chance of winning trophies.

Man United have shortlisted Kane and Victor Osimhen as their next striker targets but according to the Mirror, the England international is Ten Hag’s current top priority.

Pundit Jamie Carragher has recently admitted that Manchester United is going to be the best possible destination for Harry Kane if he decides to leave in the summer.

“I think the only place he can go realistically is Manchester United and I don’t want to see him at Manchester United for obvious reasons,” Sky Sports pundit Carragher said. “When you think Liverpool have just signed Darwin Nunez, Manchester City have got Erling Haaland, and he can’t go to Arsenal.

“I don’t think there are too many clubs there right now for him but in terms of what is happening right now I think it is pretty negative and I think it will be interesting to see how it goes from now until the end of the season. I think there is going to be a real negativity around this club until now and the end of the season.”

If Spurs cannot finish in the top four this season then it’s almost certain that Harry Kane will look to leave the club and we don’t think Daniel Levy won’t be able to do too much about it.

He’s about to enter the final stage of his professional career so it’s now or never for him. Manchester United have already ended their trophy drought by winning the Carabao Cup and the way Erik ten Hag is shaping up the squad, they could turn out to be serial title winners in the next few years.

Also, at Old Trafford, he will be the undisputed first-choice striker because Ronaldo’s already gone and ETH has plans to sell off Anthony Martial as well.

Age-wise, Osimhen will be a better target for Manchester United but several other clubs will also go after the Napoli man so it makes sense that Ten Hag is focusing on the 29-year-old Harry Kane.
