According to Fichajes, Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin has rejected offers from three major European clubs because he’s adamant about joining Real Betis.

Bellerin spent the previous season on loan with Betis where he ended up having a very decent campaign and now he is hell-bent on rejoining them.

As per the report, the right-back has rejected the opportunity to join top clubs like Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan and Villarreal only because he wants to head back to the Benito Villamarín stadium.

While Betis also want to bring back Hector Bellerin but as of now, they are willing to pay only €4 million for the full-back while the Gunners have valued him at around €10 million.

These two valuations are way off but the Spanish side are not willing to bump up their offer because Bellerin only has one more year left on his current contract.

Arsenal feel this Betis are quoting way too less for the right-back and rightly so because as per TransferMarkt, Bellerin is valued at €20 million.

What should Arsenal do with Hector Bellerin?

His contract expires in 2023 so if Mikel Arteta cannot get rid of him this summer then they will lose him as a free agent.

Arsenal have already spent a huge amount in the current transfer market so it makes no sense for them to see someone leave as a free agent.

€4 million won’t make much of a difference but something’s better than nothing so Arsenal should be wise and accept this offer from Real Betis. It’s very much clear that Hector Bellerin does not want to join any other club so it makes no sense to hold onto him and keep paying him £110,000 per week for the next season.

The manager already has Tomiyasu and Cedric as his two right-backs so he can afford to get rid of Hector Bellerin and free up his wage bills.
