Philipp Coutinho is expected to return back to Liverpool this Wednesday after his international duties. And sources close to the club claim that the Brazilian will be brought back into the first team set-up with immediate effect.

The Brazilian desperately wanted to move to Barcelona during the summer but Liverpool were stubborn enough to hold onto the player and eventually Coutinho failed to secure his dream move to Spain. There were even reports that Coutinho was seen crying once the transfer crumbled down.

The 25-year-old has not featured for Liverpool in their first three games of the new season due to an alleged sore back. But everyone feels that Coutinho was deliberately kept out of the equation owing to Barcelona’s interest in the player.

Now that the transfer window is over and Barcelona will not return for at least another 4 months, Jurgen Klopp looks all set to bring his star player back into the first team.

There were several reports that Coutinho was planning to boycott the Reds and even his fellow teammates were going to distance themselves from the wantaway player once he comes back to Melwood.

But now Liverpool’s German manager has claimed that none of that is going to happen.

Speaking to a German media outlet Klopp said, ‘Don’t believe everything in the press or that there are offers here and there and that the minute after the offer has been entered, it should already be over,’

‘We are not like George Orwell where everybody knows everything immediately. We have exactly the situation we wanted and no other.

‘Dortmund decided the player [Ousmane Dembele who joined Barcelona over the summer] would leave them, so I cannot compare the two situations.

‘We still have a really good player in the squad who can play.’

Multiple sources from England reveal that once the Brazilian returns to first team training he will most definitely feature during Liverpool’s weekend clash against Manchester City.
