Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi could be heading out of the club this summer and West Brom are the latest side being linked with the Belgian, according to Express and Star.

The report claims: “Albion are interested in a loan move for Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi, the Express & Star understands.

“The Belgian forward is expected to be surplus to requirements at the London club after netting nine times in 27 appearances last season.

“Now, it is understood he is interesting Albion, who are keen to bolster their attacking forces for their first season back in the Premier League.”

Is Michy Batshuayi heading out of Chelsea?

After the signing of Timo Werner from RB Leipzig, Michy Batshuayi has fallen further down the pecking order at Chelsea meaning Lampard should not have any issues in sending him out.

Apart from West Brom, Leeds United have also been linked with a move for the Belgian international.

And so with the Chelsea manager ready to send him out, it will now be up to the striker to choose which club he wishes to join for the 2020/21 season.

Last season, the 26-year-old mostly warmed the benches at Stamford Bridge as he made only 16 Premier League appearances for the Blues, managing to net just a single goal in all these matches.

Michy Batshuayi has entered the final year of his contract at Chelsea so we believe any loan agreement will have an option to buy before he becomes a free agent.
