Man United kick-off their Premier League campaign this weekend with a home match against Crystal Palace and the biggest debate right now is whether Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes and Donny van de Beek will start in midfield together.

Paul Pogba has just returned to training after testing negative for the coronavirus and some experts feel Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will not risk using him during Man United’s season opener.

But speaking in his pre-match press conference, the Man United boss has made it clear that Paul Pogba is fully fit and available for selection and there’s every chance he starts in midfield alongside Fernandes and Van de Beek.

When asked about the trio, Ole told the press: “Of course the three of them can get start together. Then again, you’ve got Scott McTominay, Fred and Nemanja Matic, as well, in midfield.

“So it’s not just about 11 players, or three players, in a squad of football. I’m sure we’ll see them together. I’m not going to tell you if it’s tomorrow or not, but yeah, both Luke and Paul are available for selection for how long we need them.

“He’s[Donny van de Beek] settled in really well.

“He’s a smashing boy, great personality; he’s come in with loads of energy and a big smile every day. He played well against Aston Villa so you’re likely to see him.

“Of course, I’m not going to name the team here today. I’ll have to do that to the boys after, in training.”

Paul Pogba lost a lot of game time last season due to his constant injury problems which is why he will be itching to get onto the pitch vs Palace on Saturday.

And since this is their first match of the new Premier League season, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will not be too afraid to take risks meaning there’s a fair bit of chance that the Frenchman is deployed in midfield alongside Bruno Fernandes and the club’s latest arrival.
