Romelu Lukaku has returned to Chelsea for a second stint and he is set to make his debut when the Blues face Arsenal next weekend in the Premier League.

Romelu Lukaku missed the season opener for his new side but according to talkSPORT, the Belgium international will be in the starting line-up on Sunday.

The report claims: “Romelu Lukaku could be in line to make his second Chelsea debut this weekend when they take on London rivals Arsenal.

“While Saturday’s 3-0 victory against Crystal Palace came too soon for Lukaku to make his debut, he could be set to make a big impact in this weekend’s London derby.

Chelsea travel to take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon (4.30pm) and will be hoping to make it back-to-back victories in the Premier League as they look to get their title push off to the perfect start.”

Will Romelu Lukaku start against Arsenal for Chelsea?

Against Crystal Palace, it was Timo Werner who led the line for Chelsea and the German did a pretty decent job.

Now by matchweek two, Romelu Lukaku would have spent one whole week with his new teammates which is why he will be an automatic selection for Thomas Tuchel in the centre-forward’s role.

Lukaku will lead the line and since Arsenal have started shakily, the manager should be bold enough to keep Timo Werner in the first XI as well.

Werner is really apt at making runs behind the defence and with Romelu Lukaku great at winning headers, this could turn out to be a winning combination for Chelsea.

With Hakim Ziyech out injured, Werner can find a place alongside Lukaku really easily but that would mean Christian Pulisic will have to drop to the bench.
