West Ham United are ready to offer Vladimir Coufal a new and improved deal at the club but as per the Standard, this new offer is not up to his liking.

Coufal has two more years left on his current deal with the Hammers which is why David Moyes wants the board to tie him down as soon as possible.

But if the latest gossip is true then the player and his representatives will not make things do easy for the Premier League side.

The report claims: “Talks have been held with the tireless full-back over a new deal following his stellar first season at the club, but so far the two parties are struggling to find common ground.

“Vladimir Coufal and his representatives have not been happy with the terms on offer from the club so far and given that, come the end of the season, he will have just one year left of the contract signed when he arrived from Slavia Prague last season, fresh terms should be agreed.

“The 29-year-old has been a sensation since joining the Hammers and is showing no signs of slowing down as he approaches 30. Coufal deserves to be rewarded.”

Will Vladimir Coufal reject a new deal at West Ham United?

His contract expires in 2023 so West Ham United still have some time to come to an agreement with the player and his representatives.

And given that he was one of the key figures in helping West Ham United secure a European spot, Moyes will not want to let him leave so easily.

As per Claret and Hugh, West Ham are ready to offer him a pay hike in the new contract and some think this should be enough for Vladimir Coufal to agree on a new deal.

During the 2020-21 season, played in 34 Premier League matches for the London outfit, assisting seven goals. As per Fotmob, he had an average rating of 7.09/10.
