West Ham United have been on roll in the Premier League this season, picking up 11 points from their first seven games and they will be looking to keep their good form intact when they face Everton this weekend.

The Hammers have only two injury concerns going into Sunday’s game so everyone is expecting David Moyes to name a really strong starting line up. But that may not be the case as David Moyes has hinted at a possible rotation at Goodison Park.

“We’re probably like everybody else,” Moyes said on Friday. “We’ve probably got one or two injuries, one or two people coming back from international duty that we’re having to look after.

“It looks like this international break’s taken its toll on a lot of people, and we’re no different.

“If I did have [any confirmed players missing], I probably wouldn’t tell you anyway! We might have some people who are not available.

“I’ve tried to train at a good level in the last week or two, because we know our training times and minutes will be limited in the next month or so.

“I’m also aware that I have to make sure I use the squad the best I can. I think we’ve tried to do that in the games. Whether that be in the Carabao Cup or the European games, I think we’ve done it as well as we can.

“You only need to start to get one or two injuries and it can start to affect your numbers, so from that point of view, you’ve got to be really mindful.

“It’s what we wanted. We knew there would always be times when it gets busy, so I hope that we’ll try and manage it as well as we can and continue to play as well as we’ve been doing.”

Eight senior players were called up for national team duty during the international break so there’s bound to be some tired legs in the West Ham United squad.

Also, after Sunday’s game, the Hammers have a Europa League game vs Genk next week meaning Moyes has to rest and rotate his players in the next few days.

The West Ham United manager has backups for almost every position on the pitch so resting so regulars should not be a major headache for the manager.
