Christian Eriksen has turned out to be a major flop ever since his move to Inter Milan and as per the latest reports, Premier League side West Ham United have been offered his services.

Sky Sports are claiming: “West Ham have been offered the chance to sign former Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen from Inter Milan.

“Sky in Italy reported on Monday night that Wolves and Ajax have spoken to Eriksen’s representatives but no formal bid has been submitted.”

Christian Eriksen moved to the Serie A from Spurs with a lot of promise but the Danish international has been a major disappointment at Inter Milan. This season, the 28-year-old has played in only 8 league games so far and most of these appearances have been off the bench.

It’s no secret Antonio Conte wants to sell Eriksen during the January transfer window but where will he land up next is the major question.

Over the past couple of weeks both Arsenal and Manchester United have been linked with the playmaker and some rumours claim Mikel Arteta is really eager to make a move for the former Spurs man pretty soon.

With Ozil set to leave, Arteta is looking to add a new attacking midfielder to his ranks this month and the name of Christian Eriksen ranks pretty high on his transfer wishlist.

The entry of West Ham United could cause a few issues for the other interested clubs but we’ll have to wait and see if the Hammers are willing to spend so much money during the middle of the season.

Apart from all the Premier League clubs, PSG have also been linked with Eriksen as Mauricio Pochettino is eager to reunite with the playmaker.

West Ham United can offer the Inter Milan guaranteed game time should he decide to join and a player of his calibre could very well be the star figure at the club.

Man United might not be too serious to make a move for Eriksen given their interest in Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish but the entries of PSG and now West Ham United are sure to rattle Mikel Arteta’s transfer plans for the rest of the month.
