Chelsea hit the road on Saturday to take on Wolves in the Premier League and according to Charlie Nicholas, the home team can produce an upset.

The Sky Sports pundit claims that Wolves might be able to beat Chelsea 2-1 this weekend primarily since Santo’s men find a totally new dimension whenever they are playing against a big side.

Writing in his column for Sky Sports, Nicholas said: “There are loads of people this weekend that will be editing their predictions.

“They will be checking teams and seeing who is fit and who could be the potential match-winner. It will be like that because of the guaranteed jackpot. Jeff must pay out again!

“Wolves do well against the big teams. Tammy Abraham has been in form and Mason Mount has been spectacularly good.

“Chelsea are still vulnerable at the back and will be threatened by Diogo Jota and Raul Jimenez upfront.

“I see Wolves beating Chelsea this weekend, and Wolves are the team, as many people that are talking about Leicester, that could definitely override the top-six trend.”

VERDICT:

On paper, Chelsea should be winning this game but the Blues have really struggled to get things going so far under their new manager.

Their style of play has been praised by many but unfortunately, the Blues haven’t been able to convert these good performances into wins.

So far the London side have managed to pick up just a single win and they have problems in almost every area of the pitch.

The Stamford Bridge outfit are right now the only Top 6 side who have a negative goal difference primarily because they have managed to net only 6 goals in their opening four games.

And more than the defensive aspect we feel that if the likes of Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud cannot produce some magic infront of goal then it will be very difficult for Chelsea to return back home with all three points.
