{"id":25790,"date":"2019-04-03T04:00:11","date_gmt":"2019-04-03T03:00:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress-177711-521788.cloudwaysapps.com\/?p=25790"},"modified":"2019-04-02T13:06:42","modified_gmt":"2019-04-02T12:06:42","slug":"gary-neville-changes-at-man-united-by-ole","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thefootballfanbase.com\/gary-neville-changes-at-man-united-by-ole\/","title":{"rendered":"Former Red Devil reveals some key changes that Ole needs to make during the summer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last week, <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress-177711-521788.cloudwaysapps.com\/category\/england\/premier-league-news\/manchester-united\/\">Man United<\/a> named Ole Gunnar Solskjaer the permanent manager by handing him a three-year deal at the club.<\/p>\n<p>The newly appointed boss is expected to be given a big transfer budget this summer and with that, a number of the existing players are also expected to leave the club at the end of the season.<\/p>\n<p>But as per ex-Man United man Gary Neville, apart from just signing players there are a few other things which Solskjaer must do in order to ensure that Man United become proper title challengers next campaign<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on The Gary Neville Podcast, he said(as <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2019\/04\/01\/gary-neville-says-ole-gunnar-solskjaer-planning-massive-manchester-united-overhaul-summer-9083640\/\">reported<\/a>): <em>\u2018There\u2019s four or five players that he will want to keep that are out of contract that he needs to tie down. <\/em><br \/>\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- TFFB - Large Skyscraper 300 x 600 --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 300px; height: 600px;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-7776456417631733\" data-ad-slot=\"9671203634\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\n<em>\u2018There are four or five players that he\u2019ll need to bring in. And there are probably four or five players that he needs to get out.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u2018So if you think about that in terms of the job over the next two or three months, you\u2019ve got probably 12 live situations: four players we need to sign on contracts, four players we need get into the club and four players we need to get out for the most money possible. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u2018And that needs a good wheeler dealer behind the scenes, someone who can sort of manage that situation. Man United haven\u2019t been brilliant at that over the last few years. <\/em><br \/>\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- TFFB-Responsive --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-7776456417631733\" data-ad-slot=\"8278975774\" data-ad-format=\"auto\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\n<em>&#8216;So that\u2019s the big job, and it\u2019s not his [Solskjaer\u2019s] job, but it will determine the outcome of his success.\u2019<\/em><br \/>\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- TFFB-Responsive --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-7776456417631733\" data-ad-slot=\"8278975774\" data-ad-format=\"auto\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\n<em>\u2018I think that gap in knowledge between the manager and the board room in terms of recruitment needs filling for Manchester United.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u2018I\u2019ve said before that they need the best in class recruitment and technical side in behind the manager or else he will continue to fail. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u2018Over the last six or seven years, United have put \u00a3700m into that squad and they\u2019re still falling well short of where Liverpool and City are at the moment in terms of winning titles.
