Rangers FC take on Celtic in the Scottish Premiership this Sunday but before the match, one of their former players has spoken against Gerrard’s side.

The Gers are currently second on the league table with 67 points while their Glasgow rivals are on top of the table – 13 points ahead of them.

Rangers started the season in fine form and they looked all set to overturn the Celtic dominance. But as the season has rolled along, Gerrard’s men have dropped unnecessary points which is why they have fallen out of the title race.

And according to Charlie Adam, his former side lack the resilience or the cutting edge which is required to break down stubborn sides.

Adam told on BBC Sportsound (10/03): “You either have thick skin or you don’t.

“I’ve had that in my career where, if you make a mistake, you make a mistake. That’s part of it.
