Arsenal are undefeated in the Premier League this season and they will take on a struggling Sheffield United in their next gameweek.

Sheffield are sitting at the bottom of the table and there are rumours that if they don’t win against the Gunners, Paul Heckingbottom will be sacked. This is a monumental ask because Arsenal are in top form right now and the last time, Sheffield beat the home side was way back in 2019.

The Gunners came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 against Chelsea in their previous match and then they beat Sevilla in midweek in the Champions League. Beating Sheffield United should not be an issue for the North London side and a win this weekend will keep them within two points of league leaders Tottenham.

Jurrien Timber and Thomas Partey are the only two confirmed injury absentees this weekend while Gabriel Jesus will be touch and go.

The Brazilian international scored the winning goal against Sevilla in midweek but then he was subbed off with a possible hamstring injury. He will go through a scan to see the extent of the injury but Jesus himself has claimed that the injury is not serious.

The manager said(via ESPN): “He felt something in his hamstring so let’s see.

“He straight away asked to be subbed, which is not good news because he’s not a player that does that at all, so we’ll have to wait and see in the next few days. [I’m] really sad because he felt something and I’m worried about that.”
