RB Leipzig midfielder Dani Olmo is one of the priority targets for FC Barcelona but if the La Liga do not act swiftly, the midfielder might end up joining Manchester City<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barca are trying really hard to land Olmo, but as per a report in SPORT<\/a>, Premier League champions Manchester City could try and hijack the deal in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dani Olmo has a \u20ac60 million release clause which is going to expire on July 15 after which it will be almost impossible for Barcelona to get their hands on the 26-year-old because his current market value is \u20ac50 million and his contract with RB Leipzig runs until 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dani Olmo is primarily an attacking midfielder but he can also play as a left and as a right-winger and since 2020, the midfielder has featured in 148 games for Leipzig, scoring 29 and assisting 34 goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This season, he has 9 goal contributions in 21 Bundesliga games and Pep Guardiola feels he has the ability to replace either De Bruyne or Bernardo Silva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
