While the English clubs have not been named, in recent months, Arsenal, Liverpool and Man United <a href=\"https:\/\/onefootball.com\/en\/news\/arsenal-and-liverpool-make-contact-with-real-madrid-mans-reps-39452038\">have all been linked <\/a>with Mendy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ferland Mendy has been on Madrid&#8217;s books since 2019 and in these five years, the left-back has two UCL titles and three La Liga trophies from 170 games across all competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Ferland Mendy has offers from PSG and the Premier League, but in England they prefer attacking full-backs. He could leave as a free agent next year. Fran Garcia could also be loaned out if both Davies and Mendy stay.<br><br>\u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/tgm46?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@tgm46<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/h2CgfI9Poa\">pic.twitter.com\/h2CgfI9Poa<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Madrid Universal (@MadridUniversal) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MadridUniversal\/status\/1806709374515114102?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 28, 2024<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>However, his contract with Madrid is coming to an end next year plus he has been stalling the signing of a new deal and this has prompted several of Europe&#8217;s big boys to come looking for him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Will Real Madrid get rid of Ferland Mendy?<\/mark><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ferland Mendy has been a top player for Real Madrid but with Alphonso Davies set to come in, the Frenchman will have no place in the first XI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Carlo Ancelotti won&#8217;t mind keeping him as a backup for the next couple of seasons but we don&#8217;t think Mendy is too keen to sit on the bench for most of the season and be the second-fiddle to Davies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We don&#8217;t think Perez will risk losing the full-back as a free agent so if one of the interested clubs is ready to offer around \u20ac35-40 million then the Los Blancos will allow him to leave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some rumours have suggested that Real Madrid might not be able to get Davies on board this summer and if that&#8217;s true then Mendy&#8217;s not going anywhere. The club do not need any funds so if they are sure that Alphonso Davies will join them next summer they won&#8217;t mind holding onto Ferland Mendy until his contract runs out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Will the full-back opt to join PSG or an English club?<\/mark><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ferland Mendy played in 37 games this past season and if he is not guaranteed game time, he definitely won&#8217;t stick around at the Bernabeu. Neither will he remain at the club as his future hangs in the balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A move to PSG will be very tempting but the French side already have Lucas Hernandez and Nuno Mendes so a transfer to the Premier League looks much more logical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Liverpool, he will have a similar situation with Andy Robertson in the squad but he will get a lot more game time at Arsenal and Manchester United. This is all based on the assumption that these are the only three English clubs interested in signing him because, in reality, several others might have joined the bandwagon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s not every day that a Champions League-winning defender is available for such a cut-price deal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Any major club won&#8217;t mind paying \u20ac40 million for a talent like Ferland Mendy but right now, his preference will be to remain in Spain and fight to get a new and improved contract.
