Arsenal and Manchester United are heavily interested in signing Youri Tielemans but according to DH Net, the Gunners are in pole position to land the midfielder.
Youri Tielemans has one more year left on his contract and to date, he’s refused to sign a new deal. A few months ago, Brendan Rodgers had admitted that he is open to seeing his star players leaving in the summer and now, Tielemans himself has claimed that an exit is very much a possibility.
The Belgian midfielder has admitted, as per the Athletic: “That is not out of the question.
“I feel very good at Leicester, I was welcomed with open arms from day one. I’ll give everything for the club until the last day.
“But of course you have to listen to other opportunities, you have to look at your career, and sometimes you have to make choices. Maybe one will come my way.”

Is Youri Tielemans set to leave Leicester City?
Leicester City have had one of their poorer seasons in recent memory, finishing eighth on the Premier League table so there’s no way Tielemans will sign a new deal.
The Foxes have tried every trick on the book to make him put pen on paper to a new deal but it seems like they have now accepted defeat.
Leicester are ready to sell him £30 million and this fee is very much within the grasp of both Arsenal and Manchester United.
Which team will be the better destination for Youri Tielemans?
Manchester United and Arsenal are both looking for a defensive midfielder this summer so Youri Tielemans can slot in perfectly at both these clubs.
Man United have seen the exit of Matic, Pogba, Lingard and Juan Mata so Tielemans will get unlimited game time at Old Trafford. However, Erik ten Hag is also looking at players like Frenkie De Jong and Sporting’s Matheus Nunes so the Leicester man might have to fight for his place.
The new boss is keen to sign more than one midfielder and this isn’t good news for the Belgian international especially since United already have Fred and McTominay within their ranks.
At Arsenal, Youri Tielemans will find it much easier because apart from Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka, Mikel Arteta does not have any other top-class central midfielders.
Also, the Gunners are very much interested in signing the 25-year-old so, at the Emirates Stadium, he will feel much more wanted.
