Arsenal are once again going to rival Manchester United in the signing of Youri Tielemans by making an offer of £30 million.

According to The Sun, the Gunners have decided to reignite their interest in the Belgian international and they are confident that a bid of around £30 million will be enough to overtake Manchester United.

It’s only a matter of time before Youri Tielemans heads for the exit doors and since he has only one year left on his current deal, Leicester City cannot afford to quote too high a transfer fee.

Will Arsenal be able to beat Man United to the signing of Youri Tielemans?

This Youri Tielemans transfer saga has been going on for months now and after every fifteen to twenty days, we hear a new update.

Last month, there were reports that Arsenal were on the brink of signing the midfielder but just days later it was revealed that these statements were completely false.

Some eminent journalists came out to claim that the Gunners were not even close to signing Tielemans and to add to their woes, Fabrizio Romano had asserted that Manchester United could very well make a move for him.

Romano told GIVEMESPORT a few days ago: “It’s true that Manchester United have been exploring this possibility also months ago.

“It was in February or March when they were exploring the possibilities and the conditions of this Tielemans deal.”

Now, in a fresh twist, The Sun has been claiming that Arsenal are back in the fold once again and they expect to leapfrog over Manchester United.

The fee of £30 million should theoretically be enough to trigger a sale but if Man United step up their interest then Arsenal will find it really hard to compete.

Leicester City will try and get as much value as possible from this sale but we highly doubt if Edu and co will be ready to spend any significant sum on a player who has only 12 months left on his current deal.
