Liverpool are eyeing a move for Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez as a replacement to Philippe Coutinho who joined Barcelona a couple of weeks ago – as per reports.

Rodriguez is currently on loan to Bayern Munich after he had a fall out with Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane last summer but now it seems that Jurgen Klopp is interested in bringing the winger to Anfield.

James’ current loan deal with the Bundesliga giants is for two full seasons but if Liverpool are seriously interested in signing him up then the loan can be terminated.

After Philippe Coutinho left for Barcelona, Liverpool picked up an emphatic win against league leaders Manchester City as they thumped four goals past them. But Jurgen Klopp knows very well that Coutinho’s void has to be eventually filled up.

The Reds have the money to go and buy a big payer but they do not want to jump into anything too quickly.
