Pep Guardiola went for a complete overhaul of his squad during the summer transfer window and his new look side took on Premier League new boys Brighton and Hove Albion in their first match of the new season.
City won the match 2-0 thanks to goals from Sergio Aguero and an own goal from Lewis Dunk.

Lewis Dunk scored an own goal in the 75th minute which handed Guardiola’s men the second goal cushion in order to seal the match. And with that goal, Dunk became the 7th player to score an own goal on his Premier League debut.
