Manchester City beat Forest 2-0 on Sunday which helped maintain the pressure on league leaders Arsenal and according to Roy Keane, City are about to go and win the EPL once again.

Man City have been playing catch-up with Arsenal and Liverpool for most of the season but, like always, they have put on the after-burners during the final quarter of the season and currently, they sit just one point away from the top of the table with a game in hand.

“I think City will win all the rest of their matches now,” Keane told Sky Sports[as quoted].

“On the back of the Brighton game [on Thursday], that took a lot out of them and Arsenal playing before them and winning, so it was a pressure game. Forest were fighting against relegation, so that result… I think that’s the title for City now.

“It’s all about getting results at this stage of the season. Pep, given the standards he sets, will certainly be concerned with the chances they gave up in the first half, but they had a lot more control in the second half.

“It’s the same old story with City, even when they are not at their best. They know how to win football matches, they have good options off the bench, and they have got into a really good habit of winning matches in recent years.”

Can Arsenal or Liverpool beat Man City to the EPL title race?

Arsenal beat Spurs in the North London Derby earlier on Sunday but Man City immediately responded with a commanding win over Nottingham Forest. City have now gone undefeated in 31 games across all competitions and their last loss came at the hands of Aston Villa when Emery’s side beat them 1-0 in the first week of December.

As far as Liverpool are concerned, they have won just one out of their last five Premier League matches and the Reds have completely run out of the steam. The loss to Everton and then the draw vs West Ham were killer blows to Klopp’s title hopes and to make matters even worse, they will now go on to face Tottenham.

Every Liverpool fan was hoping that their team could give Klopp a fitting farewell but it seems like the season is going to end on a pretty bleak note.

Now, while Arsenal do have what it takes to take the EPL title race down to the final matchweek however if Manchester City win their game in hand then the title is theirs to lose.

Out of the four remaining matches, City have only one tough fixture on paper and that is against Spurs but all the other matches are very much winnable for Pep Guardiola’s team.

Arsenal will be hoping that their North London rivals can do them a favour by beating MCFC but the Gunners themselves have to worry about Manchester United and a very tricky final game against Everton.

Liverpool’s EPL title push has fizzled out and while Arsenal are still holding onto that top spot, Keane has hit the nail on the head with his prediction of Man City defending their title simply because Pep is a seasoned pro and he’s wrapped things up from similar situations at least half a dozen times.
