Real Madrid are currently 10 points behind Spanish league leaders Barcelona and this is mainly due to a major misfiring forward line. While Gareth Bale remains sidelined with an injury, both Benzema and Ronaldo have not shown any spark whatsoever. And this has seemingly left Zinedine Zidane and Florentino Perez frustrated.

As a result of this very average performance from the defending champions, the Los Blancos management are preparing for a major overhaul in the first team setup. And according to the Don Balon, Zidane is ready to offload a bunch of forward players and will be going after Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez and Tottenham’s Harry Kane.

Karim Benzema has been performing poorly throughout the season and the Frenchman has only one goal in eight appearances in the La Liga this campaign. But everyone knows that Arsenal have been interested in signing the Madrid hitman for quite some time now. And the report suggests that Florentino Perez might use Benzema as a bargaining chip in order to bring Sanchez to the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid are also planning to make a move for Spurs’ striker Harry Kane in order to fill the void left if Benzema is sold and this dual move from the La Liga giants might just ultimately go down to help Manchester United. Jose Mourinho has been wanting to sign Gareth Bale for the longest time and if Real Madrid do manage to sign Alexis Sanchez then the Chilean is sure the block the position that Bale plays in. This means that Real Madrid will have no other option but to offload the Welshman in order to accommodate Sanchez in the starting lineup.
