Arsenal seem to have finally got their man as reports from Germany are claiming that the Gunners have agreed on a deal in principle to sign Aubameyang.

The London outfit had submitted a £50 million bid for the Gabon International earlier this month but Dortmund were swift to reject that offer claiming that the offer fell way short of their asking price.

Now according to local Dortmund outlet Ruhr Nachrichten, the Gunners have agreed on deal to sign the forward.

Ruhr Nachrichten are reporting that Arsenal have upped their offer from £50m to around £57m and Dortmund have agreed to the price.

The Mirror are reporting that Aubameyang has agreed to sign a three-and-a-half year deal at the Emirates and will be receiving £180,000-a-week in the form of wages.

But the biggest roadblock in the deal will be the fact that the Bundesliga outfit are yet to find a replacement to Aubameyang. Dortmund reportedly want Olivier Giroud on loan from Arsenal for the rest of the season.

Giroud is also a transfer target for Chelsea and it seems that the French International will prefer to join Chelsea and stay in the Premier League rather than move to Germany.

Dortmund know that Aubameyang wants to join Arsenal at any cost and the German outfit are trying hard to find a replacement before the transfer season comes to a close.
