Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has stated as to why Alexis Sanchez was too hard to please and why exactly his relationship went sour with a lot of his teammates. And after hearing the reason all we can do is laugh.

It’s no secret that Sanchez’s exit from the Emirates last month was not a very happy one. While Wenger was desperate to hold onto one of his star performers but the rift inside the dressing room was very evident. A lot of Arsenal players were reportedly not happy with the tantrums that the Chilean was throwing and it is said to be one of the biggest reasons why Sanchez did not have second thoughts of joining another club as soon as possible.

While speaking at the Oxford Union, Hector Bellerin has claimed that Alexis Sanchez’s insatiable desire to win was too much for the Arsenal dressing room.

Bellerin said: “One of the best in the Premier League for sure but he is a player who always wants to win. He demands from everyone, sometimes it can be too much. The great thing is he wants to win, to give 100 percent.

“There was one game against Crystal Palace. We celebrated a goal and some of the players went I stayed back, I was talking to Calum Chambers because there was some tactical stuff. For me, that was more important than celebrating the goal.”

Yes, you heard that right. Bellerin thinks that the Chilean had a winning mentality – which somehow is not a very desirable trait.

Do you think that Sanchez has finally joined the right club now?
