If the Eden Hazard deal fails, Zidane wants ‘this’ player as a back-up: A sensible decision?

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane wants to bring in Eden Hazard from Chelsea during the summer transfer window.

If reports are to be believed then the Los Blancos have already made a bid for the winger which has been swiftly turned down by the Blues.

Eden Hazard has previously claimed that he would love to play under Zizou at Real and with the kind of form that Chelsea are in right now, there is every possibility that the Belgian might make the switch at the end of the season.

But right now there is a transfer embargo on Chelsea which means the Blues will not be able to buy any new players and hence it remains to be seen whether the Premier League club will let go of their superstar.

And it looks like even Zidane is well aware of this fact and the Real Madrid boss has shortlisted West Ham United man Felipe Anderson as a possible backup.

Yes, Felipe Anderson.

Anderson joined the Hammers last summer from Lazio and since then the Brazilian has made quite an impact at the London Stadium.

So far, Felipe Anderson has made 31 league appearances for West Ham scoring eight goals and providing four assists and he is one of those rare players who has started each and every game in the league this season.

Felipe Anderson being a Brazilian has a natural flair about his plays and it looks like Zidane has been attracted towards it.

Should Real Madrid decide to make a move for the West Ham man then he would be available at half the price of Eden Hazard as per the latest updates.

But the Chelsea man still remains priority number one for Zidane.

Right now West Ham United have nothing to worry about but the fact that the Blues have already rejected a bid for Eden Hazard could very well mean that Real Madrid could make an enquiry about Anderson in the coming weeks.
