Liverpool beat Barcelona 4-0 at Anfield this week in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final.

And this superb result means that Jurgen Klopp’s men will be playing in their second successive Champions League final.

The Reds came into this match after losing the first leg 3-0 and not too many people pinned their hopes on them overturning such a huge deficit.

But the Liverpool fans knew that playing at Anfield anything and everything was possible.

And this is exactly what happened.

Liverpool were rampant from the very first whistle and in the first leg they managed to pull one goal back.

The magic though happened in the second half when the home team were attacking the Kopp end of Anfield and they went on to score three goals in order to secure a place in the finals.

And speaking after the match, former Arsenal manager went on to claim that Anfield is one of the key reasons why the Reds have performed so well in Europe.

“In Europe, they do well. Why? Anfield,” the former Arsenal manager told beIN Sport(as reported).

“[For a] home game, this is the most heated stadium in Europe in a return game. It is the only place you don’t want to go.

“The atmosphere – everything – is special there.”
