Arsenal were knocked out of the Carabao Cup this week but Unai Emery does not have the time to introspect since the Gunners will be taking on Wolves in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Gunners lost to Liverpool on penalties and speaking after the match, the manager admitted that his players were a bit despondent after the game.

But there might be some bigger concerns for Emery since three of his players picked up knocks in midweek and they might miss the clash vs Wolves.

Defenders Sead Kolasinac, Maitland-Niles and midfielder Joe Willock suffered knocks at Anfield and as per reports, they will not be in the matchday squad on Saturday.

Sead Kolasinac, Maitland-Niles and Willock all started the match on Wednesday and apart from Kolasinac, the other two players played the full match. So if the injuries are serious then it will surely be difficult for them to recover so quickly.

While these players will surely be missed but the manager has backups for each position so the Gunners fans need not sweat.

Summer signing Kieran Tierney has started at left-back ever since he made a return back from injury and vs Wolves too the youngster will be named in the first XI.

Hector Bellerin played at right-back vs Liverpool while Maitland-Niles played in a five-man midfield which means the right-back area is also sorted.

And as far as Joe Willock is concerned, the youngster was never meant to start vs Wolves since Mateo Guendouzi will return to the first XI.

So while Unai Emery will have reduced bench strength on Saturday but the Arsenal boss will not particularly be sweating over the injuries to his players.

If Arsenal win this match vs Wolves even then they won’t be able to get into the top-four of the table but a loss would mean the North London side might even slip to the 10th spot.
