Arsenal suffered yet another defeat in the Premier League, this time losing to Aston Villa 1-0, away from home.

The loss means Arsenal will not be able to finish in the top-seven of the Premier League table so their only way to the Europa League is by winning the FA Cup.

Watford have lost their last 5 away matches in the league and right now, they are 18th on the league table meaning they should not be able to pick up anything from this match.

But given the kind of topsy turvy form that the Gunners are in, the Hornets will surely not lose hope and even if they can manage to pick up a point on Sunday, it might help them remain in the English top division next season as well.

Arsenal team news vs Watford:

The Gunners manager has made it clear that Shkodran Mustafi will not be fit to take on Watford meaning Rob Holding and David Luiz will be partnered by Kolasinac in defence on Sunday.

Calum Chambers and Pablo Mari are both long-term injury absentees and they will only return to action during the 2020-21 season.

Lucas Torreira played in central midfield alongside Dani Ceballos vs Villa but against Watford, Granit Xhaka will return to the starting line-up, replacing the South American.

Mesut Ozil might get into the matchday squad as he keeps recovering from his lower back injury but we do not think the playmaker will get a start.

Bukayo Saka and Cedric Soares played as the two wing-backs in midweek but both of them should move back to the bench, making way for Kieran Tierney and Hector Bellerin.

Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette will keep their place in the starting XI on Sunday but Eddie Nketiah could be replaced by Nicolas Pepe on the right-wing.

Arsenal’s predicted XI vs Watford:

Predicted XI: Martinez; Rob Holding, David Luiz, Kolasinac; Ceballos, Granit Xhaka, Tierney, Bellerin; Aubameyang, Lacazette, Nicolas Pepe.
