Arsenal have drawn 12 games in the Premier League so far this season and next up they take on Burnley away from home.

Burnley beat Manchester United 2-0 in their previous league matches and right now are level on points with the Gunners which is why many feel they might be able to pick up something this Sunday.

And while this surely remains a possibility, Charlie Nicholas believes that Arsenal will be able to pick up their seventh win of the season primarily due to the return of Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang.

The pundit wrote for Sky Sports: “It is a tough game for Arsenal.

“They are the same as Burnley – intriguing in their inconsistency. Arsenal fans do appreciate what Mikel Arteta is trying to do, bringing appetite and energy to the team and giving his side the chance to learn from the philosophy he has brought in.

“The young players have bought into it. I think he has inherited a mess, though. To draw 12 games is a scandal and the defence has been useless.

“Perhaps Pablo Mari will be able to bolster it – we’ll see. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is coming back fresh, which could be the difference here.”

Arsenal have been really poor this season but under Mikel Arteta, they have shown glimpses of brilliance especially going when going forward.

All they now got to do if to convert this fine football into wins and if they can stitch up a couple of wins on the trot then they still have a great chance of finishing towards the top half of the table.

While young Gabriel Martinelli has done brilliantly in the absence of Aubameyang but the Gabon international’s return will surely bring back a lot of calm amongst the Arsenal supporters.
