Chelsea will look to make a fresh pursuit for Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell at the end of the season – as per reports.
Ben Chilwell joined the Foxes from Huddersfield in 2016 and this season he has caught the attention of a number of big English clubs having scored two and assisted three goals in 23 Premier League games so far.
Chelsea though have been considered the frontrunners as they have been linked with him for the past couple of months especially due to the uncertainty over Emerson.
Emerson has fallen way down the pecking order at Chelsea this season and it seems like he will be on his way to the Serie A in the summer with Juventus and Napoli being the clubs interested in him right now.
Juve boss Maurizio Sarri is a big fan of Emerson and would love to reunite with the left-back who has played 14 league games for Chelsea this season.

And while Chelsea will be more than happy to see him leave, reports have it that they will only be able to get around £25 million for the Italian while Ben Chilwell is going to cost double.
Some experts believe Leicester are going to hold out for at least £50 million more so since Chilwell still has three years left on his current deal.
So clearly the Foxes are in no hurry to sell him off but if Chelsea were to lose Emerson then they would have no other option but to force a move for Ben Chilwell and that is when Leicester will automatically have the upper hand in the deal.
Ben Chilwell is without a doubt one of the top left-backs in the Premier League right now and a £50 million price tag for him is more than justified.
But the problem for Chelsea is they to have make other big signings to which is why spending so much money on one left-back could turn out to be a big deterrent for Frank Lampard.
