Arsenal will take on Huddersfield in the Premier League this weekend and the Gunners would be looking to bounce back from their loss vs Man City last week.

That 3-1 defeat at the hands of City have cost Arsenal their fifth spot on the table and they now find themselves three points adrift the top-four.

Unai Emery is expected to name a competitive side vs Huddersfield since their next match will be on Thursday in the Europa League.

Huddersfield vs Arsenal: Team news

The Gunners have a long injury list and most of the players out are from the backline.

Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin have already been ruled out for the rest of the season while Sokratis and Mustafi remain short term absentees.

While Sokratis is recovering from an ankle injury, Shkodran Mustafi is out with a back injury and both the players are not expected to feature during the Huddersfield vs Arsenal game.

Granit Xhaka is out with a groin injury meaning Torreira and Guendouzi will once again play in central midfield this weekend.

Denis Suarez came on as a substitute against Man City but the new arrival should make his first team start during the Huddersfield vs Arsenal game.

Aaron Ramsey will hopefully be playing in attacking midfielder’s role meaning both Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan will start on the bench despite the latter being deemed fit to play.

Unai Emery has more or less sorted out his striker dilemma meaning both Lacazette and Aubameyang will play up front.

While the Frenchman will play as an out and out striker, Aubameyang will be handed a more free role in the attacking third.
