Jose Mourinho Tottenham take on Chelsea
Jose Mourinho

Jose Mourinho suffered yet another loss as the Tottenham Hotspur manager. this time crashing out of the Champions League after suffering a 3-0 loss at the hands of RB Leipzig in the second leg of the Round of 16.

But unfortunately, the Portuguese will have no time to try and sort things out since next up, Spurs take on Manchester United in the Premier League.

Jose Mourinho currently has a long list of injury absentees with players like Harry Kane, Son and Bergwijn all out injured. So naturally, it will be an uphill task for the home side to pick up a win against Manchester United especially since the OT side are in red hot form right now.

“With the squad, we have at the moment it’s going to be very, very difficult,” the manager said after the loss to Leipzig via talkSPORT.

“These problems are not going to disappear from today to tomorrow. But we have matches to play, matches to fight in. You can see in our matches in the Premier League that we fight until the end.

“In the Premier League, we don’t have results where we had no chances to fight for the points.

“When we lost matches, we lost matches 2-1, 3-2, 1-0. We had draws so it’s not like we don’t fight.

“So we will fight and the players have to be very strong to fight with the limitations we have.

“This time we are not going to recover any players for next Sunday. At least we have a little period, not just two days like we have all the time, we have four days in between.”

Can Jose Mourinho work his magic?

Jose Mourinho has already lost a match to Man United as the Spurs manager and with the number of injuries he has in his team right now, we are pretty sure that the Lilywhites are staring at yet another loss this Sunday.

Against Leipzig, Spurs looked absolutely comical while going forward as well as in defence and if they cannot manage to dig in deep and come up with better performance then players like Bruno Fernandes and Anthony Martial will tear them apart.

As things stand right now, the only way that Jose Mourinho can come out of this match with a positive result is if the away side were to make a serious blunder.
