Liverpool have been taking massive strides under Jurgen Klopp this season and they still remain the only side in the Premier League who are yet to suffer a single defeat.

Liverpool beat Wolves 2-0 on Friday which means the Reds will now be on top of the table during the Christmas period which is a very positive sign for all the Anfield faithful.

But Jurgen Klopp has now revealed that there is one rival team who he admires very much given what they have achieved during the current season despite of all the hurdles.

The Liverpool manager was talking about Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur.

“Tottenham had so many injury problems, the shortest break after the World Cup, no pre-season and won all the games in a difficult situation,” Jurgen Klopp said.

“Now they are six points behind us. Wow. That’s massive.”

The Lilywhites failed to make a single new signing during the summer transfer window which made them the first club to achieve this feat ever since the transfer window was conceived.

Many pundits felt that Spurs would perform rather poorly this season given their lack of activity in the transfer market but Pochettino’s men have proved everyone wrong by making their best ever start to a Premier League season.

Players like Harry Kane and Lucas Moura has been on top of their game ever since the 2018-19 season started and even the youngster like Foyth have chipped in with fine performances whenever called upon.

Spurs are currently third on the league table(when this article was written) which means they can still win the title – theoretically.

But the Spurs fans are a bit sceptical especially since all the rumours linking Mauricio Pocettino to Manchester United.
