Liverpool picked up yet another Premier League win last weekend beating West Ham United with a scoreline of 3-2 and thereby narrowly escaping a defeat.

And next up, the Anfield outfit hit the road in order to take on Watford who are currently 18th on the Premier League table.

Watford are without a win in five Premier League games meaning they have very little chance of picking up anything from this match. But they will still have some hope since, in the reverse fixture, the Hornets did manage to give a tough fight despite losing the match 2-0.

Liverpool are not expecting any mishaps in this match but the manager could choose to make a few changes to his starting line-up since the Reds take on Chelsea in the FA Cup next week.

Liverpool team news vs Watford:

The back four of Liverpool basically choose themselves for any big match with Van Dijk and Joe Gomez playing in central defence while Alexander-Arnold and Robertson play as the full-backs.

But given the close proximity of the Chelsea match, the manager could opt to replace Joe Gomez with Joel Matip.

Fabinho and Wijnaldum will keep their place in the starting line-up since Jordan Henderson is still recovering from an injury.

Naby Keita started in midfield last weekend vs West Ham United but Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could come into the side when Liverpool take on Watford.

Mo Salah should have been rested before the big game against Chelsea next week but Jurgen Klopp right now does not have that luxury since Xherdan Shaqiri is on the sidelines with an injury.

Sadio Mane though could move to the bench as Divock Origi comes into the side to replace him while Roberto Firmino will keep his place as the centre-forward.

We feel Jurgen Klopp will make rest a few first-team regulars against Watford but the Hornets did manage to put up a fight against Manchester United last weekend so the Liverpool boss could very well name his strongest XI.

Liverpool’s predicted XI vs Watford:

Starting XI: Alisson Becker; Van Dijk, Gomez/Matip, Alexander-Arnold, Robertson; Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Chamberlain; Mo Salah, Firmino, Sadio Mane/Origi.
