Man United suffered yet another defeat, this time losing 4-3 to Bayern Munich in the Champions League but they will have to quickly get themselves back up because on Saturday they head to Turf Moor to take on Burnley.

Manchester United have now suffered three defeats on the trot and after five matches, they are 13th on the Premier League table with just six points. On the brighter side, their next few matches are very much winnable until they welcome Manchester City at the end of October.

Ten Hag is under massive pressure to get his team up and running this season and these next set of fixtures will allow the Man United manager some much-needed breathing space.

Burnley have made a terrible start to their 23/24 campaign as they are yet to pick up a win in the league so this is the ideal chance for Man United to get back on their feet and bury all the criticism under a commanding performance. On paper, this should be a comfortable win for Manchester United but if someone they were to lose then all hell would break loose among the fans.

Manchester United’s team news and injuries:

Onana had a really poor outing against Bayern Munich but he’s very much the No 1 for Man United.

The injury list remains long for the Man United manager and now, Harry Maguire’s name has also been added to it which is why he did not travel to Germany.

Kobbie Mainoo, Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are all ruled out due to injuries while Jadon Sancho and Antony are not part of the squad due to disciplinary reasons.

Reguilon and Diogo Dalot have both done really well as the two wide defenders but Ten Hag is just one injury away from a major full-back crisis.

The good news though is that Raphael Varane, Mount and Sofyan Amrabat have all returned to training this week and Amrabat is in line to make his first appearance for the club. With Amrabat expected to start, Eriksen will be promptly moved back to the bench allowing the late summer signing to pair up with Casemiro in central midfield.

Mount and Varane might be included in the matchday squad but we don’t think they are fit enough to start on Saturday.

Facundo Pellistri ran his socks off down the right wing against Bayern Munich and he will be in line to start this weekend as well. Garnacho will also be pushing for a start but the problem for the Man United manager is that Garnacho can only play on the left which means either Rashford will have to move to the right or Ten Hag will have to bench him.

It will be impossible for ETH to push Rashford on the bench so Garnacho will start on the bench and then come on as a sub in the second half.

Holland got his first goal for Man United and he will lead the line with Martial likely to replace him in the final quarter of the match.
