Tottenham Hotspur managed to fight past Leicester City in the Premier League to pick up a 3-1 win which means they are still in the hunt for being the champions.

While the scoreline suggests that the Lilywhites might have had an easy game but we assure you, it wasn’t.

Spurs saw goals from Davinson Sanchez, Christian Eriksen and Son Heung-min but after the match, Mauricio Pochettino was not particularly a happy man.

The manager lashed out at referee Michael Oliver for booking Son for an alleged dive and while talking about the incident, Pochettino chose to take a dig at Liverpool.

“It’s fantastic. Sometimes winning games when you’re not at your best. An even game, we conceded more chances than we normally concede,” Pochettino told reporters.

“I have to congratulate the players.

“It was unbelievable, unbelievable. When you compare the situation with the penalty for Leicester, unbelievable.

“That’s what I said to Michael.

“Then you look at Liverpool and the last minute. Same referee. I’m more relaxed because we won.

” Do you think that we’re a team trying to cheat a referee? Come on, we’re one of the nicest teams on the pitch.”

Pochettino was obviously talking about Liverpool’s last away game vs West Ham where the referee chose to overlook a number of decisions during the game and the Reds even managed to score during the 1-1 draw courtesy of a move which should have been flagged offside.
